Jul 16 My 2023 Nordstrom Sale Selections!

Every year I shop the sale for a few staples and maybe a little treat…or two!

My must-haves always include:

-Candles:

These are less toxic candles because they are made with coconut wax, a clean wick and essential oils. These are the only candles I buy. If you’re burin bath and body works, please consider switching to these! that was a tough pill for me to swallow. After my sisters breast cancer diagnosis, and diving deep into toxins, I tossed an entire garbage bag full of bath and body works.

A coat:

I generally alternate between a winter coat and a dressy coat. This year I’m eyeing this blue leather jacket. It’s amazing and so different from anything else I have! I linked the ivory coat because I loved the fit and length. It would look darling dressed up or with jeans. Cute!

Shoes:

I mean, you’re crazy if you don’t look at the shoes! Tennis shoes and boots are the two types of shoes that I need to replace the most often. Kansas weather is not kind to shoes. Am I right or am I right??!!??

The only blanket on the planet worth buying:

The first year I invested in one of these we would all fight tot get it first. I buy one every year and then donate from home. These are warm, stretch and they don’t shed! They also are easy to fold up because they’re aren’t as bulky as your typical winter blanket.

If you’re not in the market to splurge on the blanket then do yourself a favor and get their socks! My mom gifted them to my sisters and I last Christmas and they were clutch! They’d also make a great stocking stuffer or gift exchange present.

Underwear:

I know, not a fun purchase but is there anything more comfortable than a good pair of Hanky Pankies? The answer is no-they are the absolute best!

Handbags:

I saw this purse and not only loved the pink, but thought the metallic was so fun!

Blazers:

I love how blazers have become a more casual look for women to layer with.

Jewelry:

A few of you have asked about the gold chain necklace I wear almost daily. This is the most similar.

I also loved these initial bracelets! I bought one with each of the kiddos first initials to stack.

EDIT: I went to the sale tonight and have to add two more things!

This is so unbelievably comfortable! It feels like butter! I bought two of these for Christmas presents.
