Mother's Day Gift Guide
Give something memorable this Mother’s Day! Here are a few of my favorite Mother’s Day gifts from over the years.
I never valued relaxation or sleep the way I do since becoming a mother. My goodness, I crave them both! So what does that look like for me? Silence, a cozy pair of pjs and robe and lastly, a cup of tea or glass of wine depending on the day. I generally buy my pjs from Target but once a year, Brent and the boys get me something really nice and over the years it’s evolved into a wonderful collection!
My favorite sets have all come from Anthropologie. The robes and pants are always long enough and the fabric gets more soft with each wash. They are a splurge, but I still have my first pj set from almost 10 years ago and it still looks fantastic! Here’s what I’m currently crushing over.
I’ve always been a candle girl You could find me at every Bath and Bodyworks sale with a full bag. However, now that I have seen the benefits to living a less toxic life, I’m more careful about the candles I put in my home. In fact, there is only once candle and it’s this brand. It’s made with coconut wax, has a clean burning wick and their fragrances are created from clean, non toxic oils.
I linked their normal size candle but also their gigantic candle depending on your budget. The “big daddy” would last your special lady years!
For the wine momma, there are two things she’s guaranteed to love! The first is a wine glass holder for the shower. Don’t knock it until you try it! So peaceful! The other is a stemless wine chiller. Rose on the patio is a win until your kids start fighting or someone falls and by the time you get back from bandaid duty your rose is luke warm. All you mommas are shaking your head up and down right now, aren’t ya?!?
Another gift I absolutely love, is when the littles get me a unique clutch. Not only does it make me happy to use it on special occasions, but the kiddos feel proud as peacocks when they notice me carrying it.
I hope this round up is helpful and makes the special woman in your life smile.
Love, Lanie
