Peanut Butter Stuffed Dates
Okay, it doesn’t taste exactly like a Snickers like TikTok said, but they’re still absolutely delicious!
I have a major sweet tooth! So much so, that not having a little something sweet every day almost feels like a punishment. But, I know my myself. I never stop at 1! The problem with that, my body is not forgiving when it comes to too much sugar. Headaches and weight gain….why can’t we still have the metabolism of our 17 year old selves?
These peanut butter stuffed dates both satisfy my sugar cravings, but they also have some health benefits when made with clean ingredients.
Dates are an excellent source of fiber and aid in both gut health and bone health. I fill them with a clean peanut butter. I like Trader Joes brand and the Target Good and Gather brand. Read the label when you’re at the store. Clean means the only ingredient on the package will be dry roasted peanuts. NO OILS!
I like to chill them in the refridgerator for a few minutes to harden the peanut butter before dipping in the chocolate.
I like to make two packages of dates at a time so I can keep a bunch in the freezer. Pull a few out when you’re ready and let them sit at room temperature for a couple minutes. I promise they won’t disappoint!
